on my computer the game doses not work very well

It is a very tricky one, David. What you have to do is use the left and right arrow keys to move the canon, use the up and down arrow keys to tilt it so the ball flies left/right. Then you have to hold the space bar down to gain speed. The canon ball has to land on top of the word, it cannot be shot from underneath.
